Bantay Pusta is a software solution designed to help users block and prevent access to gambling-related websites and applications across supported platforms, including the Android mobile application, Chrome browser extension, Web dashboard, and Windows application.

Bantay Pusta does NOT:

2. Protection & Blocking Features

On Android devices, Bantay Pusta uses a combination of system-level permissions to:

  • Block gambling-related websites using a local VPN service
  • Detect when restricted applications are opened through Usage Access
  • Display blocking screens and alerts using overlay permissions
  • Help prevent unauthorized removal of protection using Device Admin

2.1 Privacy & Data Protection (Android)

Bantay Pusta uses a local VPN that operates only on your device. Your internet traffic is not monitored or transmitted externally. We do NOT collect personal content, messages, or keystrokes. All blocking decisions are performed locally on your device and are strictly used for recovery support.

2.2 iOS Protection (Screen Time & Device-Level Restrictions)

On iOS devices, Bantay Pusta uses Apple’s built-in Screen Time and device-level restriction features (Family Controls) to:

  • Block access to gambling-related websites in Safari
  • Restrict access to selected applications and content categories
  • Enforce protection directly through Apple’s system-level controls

2.3 Privacy & Data Protection (iOS)

Bantay Pusta does not monitor browsing activity or personal content on iOS devices. Screen Time access is used only to apply restrictions. All enforcement is handled by Apple’s built-in system controls, and you remain in control of these permissions through your device settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Process subscription payments
  • Enforce device limits based on subscription plans
  • Provide customer support
  • Improve application functionality and security
  • Send email notifications such as receipts, account alerts, and important updates

We do not use your information for marketing without explicit user consent.

4. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through:

  • Google Play Billing (Android)
  • Website-based payment gateways (such as Stripe, PayPal, or equivalent)
  • Windows application in-app purchases (if applicable)

Bantay Pusta does not store credit or debit card information. All payment processing is handled securely by third-party providers.

5. Data Storage & Retention

  • User account and subscription data are stored securely in encrypted databases
  • Passwords are hashed and cannot be accessed by system administrators
  • Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide services or meet legal obligations
